Returns / Refunds / Exchange Policies

For Accessories / Networking Products

  1. The item must be returned to us within 30 days of delivery in original un-opened and sealed packaging.
  2. Return Authorisation (RA) number must be obtained from our customer service prior to any return.
  3. Return shipping charge is the responsibility of the buyer, we will not be liable for lost or damaged item during return transit should buyer decide not to use registered post with insurance cover according to the item’s value.
  4. We reserve our right to refuse a return and refund on item found to be in un-resalable condition and or with missing parts or packaging.
  5. We cannot accept returns on software, printer with (ink/cartridge been unsealed) or any other consumable product once the packaging/seal has been opened.
  6. We do reserve our right to charge restocking fee if product packaging has been opened and no longer considered to be in brand new condition, up to 50% of the purchase price and or a minimum of $10 whichever deemed applicable.
  7. The refund amount does not include delivery cost. All change of mind and non-faulty exchanges/returns will incur both a restocking fee of at least 10 – 15% and a postage fee of $10. Free delivery is only offered provided the item is accepted.
  8. Refunds only accepted up to 7 days after item is received. From 7 to 30 days, refund will only be accepted if the item is deemed to be faulty with a valid reference number from the manufacturer.

In the event of Dead On Arrival or transit damage

  1. Should the item you have received be damaged, in the event where insurance cover maybe applicable, please contact our customer service within 1 business day of receiving and we will arrange Return Authorisation (RA) number so the item can be returned for replacement.
  2. If the item you have received is found to be Dead On Arrival (inoperable), please contact us within 1 business day of receiving the item so that we can arrange Return Authorisation (RA) number for the item to be returned to the manufacturer for replacement.

Replacements/Returns

  1. All contents and accessories should be returned to us in its original packaging. Refunds only accepted if all original package contents are returned in the original packaging/box.
  2. Replacements can only be made for the contents that are received back. Standard manufacturer’s warranty applies should returns not been made within 14 days of receiving the item.

 

For Refurbished Laptops / Tablets

We cannot accept returns on software or any other consumable/activated product once the packaging/seal has been opened/used.
  5. All items bought via auction are on a non-returnable, non-refundable basis.
  6. Refunds only accepted up to 7 days after item is received. From 7 to 30 days, only exchanges are allowed and no returns are accepted.

We do reserve our right to charge restocking fees on a returned item

  1. If product packaging has been opened and no longer considered to be in its original condition.
  2. If product is not found to be faulty.
  3. Physical or water damage. A minimum of 20% of the purchase price or a minimum of $10 whichever deemed applicable may be charged. The refund amount does not include delivery cost.

For Brand New Laptops / Tablets / Phones

  1. The item must be returned to us within 14 days of delivery, in original un-opened and sealed packaging. No refunds will be accepted if the item seal has been broken or packaging has been opened. No returns are accepted after 14 days of delivery. Returns will not be accepted if there is any physical or water damage done to the product. Warranty does not cover physical or water damage.
  2. All items bought via auction/buy it now are on a non-returnable, non-refundable basis. Please note that we cannot guarantee the compatibility of items with customer's hardware or software setups, therefore we will not accept returns/refunds based on incompatibility issues. Please check with your hardware/software manufacturer's guideline before bidding to avoid disappointment.
  3. Refunds are not possible if you change your mind about the goods. In some cases returns will be accepted, however returned product has to be in original condition as dispatched and restocking fee of up to 50% of item value will be charged and postage will not be refunded. A postage charge of up to $15 will be incurred and/or deducted from refunds. Free delivery is only offered provided the item is accepted. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  4. No returns/exchange are offered after 14 days of payment received. Receipt for the returned item must be produced as proof of purchase for refund or exchange. Only products in original sellable condition can be exchanged. Return postage will be paid by customer. For refund items eBay charges, which make up 5.5% of the total sale, will be deducted from the refund amount. For refund or exchanged items all additional postage costs will be paid for by Buyer. Additional postage costs for exchanged or returned items do not include insurance. If you would like the exchanged item to be insured please email us before we send the item. A $2.50 administration fee will be applied on all refunds.
  5. SydneyTech reserves the right to refuse returns, refunds, or exchange of any items. All contents and accessories should be returned to us in its original packaging. Any products eligible for a refund or replacement must be sent to the following address with the product in it's original box with all it's original contents and copy of the invoice. Please include the Invoice Number in the Address.
